Small Business Assistance
The Paycheck Protection Program provides small businesses with fully forgivable loans to pay up to 8 weeks of payroll costs including benefits. Funds can also be used to pay interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities. Small businesses with 500 or fewer employees—including nonprofits, veterans organizations, tribal concerns, self-employed individuals, sole proprietorships, and independent contractors— are eligible.

Notice: The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) ended on May 31, 2021. Existing borrowers may be eligible for PPP loan forgiveness.

SBA also offers additional COVID-19 relief.

Free one-on-one counseling for SBA loan application assistance is available from the New York Small Business Development Center: http://www.nyssbdc.org/selector/ReqForCons/formo.aspx
