DID is in process of selecting its endorsed candidates for NYS Supreme Court. (See DID's Judicial Vetting and Endorsement Process). This year there are three open Supreme Court seats. The three Demoratic Party nominees will be selected by elected judicial delegates at the New York County Judicial Convention on August 10th.
DID has conducted a number of interviews with the judicial candidates for these seats in anticipation of its endorsement. Per our endorsement process, DID membership will hear recommendations from the DID Judicial Committee on August 3rd. The Judicial Committee, made up of the DID Judicial Delegates and Alternates, will vote on our final endorsements on August 4th. DID delegates will be bound by that vote.
