Dear Governor Hochul, State Senators Kavanagh and Hoylman, and Assemblymembers Glick and Niou:
Attached please find a letter approved ty the Downtown Independent Democrats Executive Committee calling for the urgent extension of the eviction moratorium past the imminent deadline of January 15, 2022. The pause in evictions was a necessary measure during 2020 and 2021 as the coronavirus pandemic raged across our City and State. It remains so with the Omicron surge.
