DID supports passage of the NY Votes Act legislation, which includes:
- Early voting
- Automatic voter registration
- Online absentee ballots
- Shortening time to register with a party or switch parties
- Restoring voting rights to people on parole
- Holding all statewide primary elections on one day in late June
