With DID rescinding its endorsement of Brian Benjamin for NYS Lt. Governor, we have partnered with Grand Street Democrats (GSD) in a new candidate forum for that office. The forum is being hosted by GSD as part of their membership meeting. The forum is expected to begin at 7:15 and run for 30 to 45 minutes. It will be recorded.

DID members will hold an endorsement discussion and vote at our next Membership meeting on May 25th. We encourage all members to either attend this forum or view the recording and then join us for the endorsement vote on the 25th.
The recent court ruling regarding the district lines and primary date for Congress and State Senate does not directly affect the state-wide races of Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General and Comptroller. While it's possible that the primary date for these offices could be changed, at this moment, that date remains set for June 28.
