District Leaders are the leaders of the County (Manhattan) Democratic Party. They vote on Party leadership and policy, nominate judges for election, choose poll workers, and represent you, their local constituents, in the Democratic Party. District Leaders are elected, but unpaid. They have a two year term and like every elected official, they have to get on the ballot, which means for them, collecting 500 signatures from neighbors like you. 

Come meet them, help get them on the ballot, and get a free drink if you bring at least one full, completed DID petition page of signatures!
