The District Leader positions have been made vacant by the 2022 redistricting which moved some of Assembly Districts 65 and 66 into a new AD 61 covering Battery Park City, parts of FiDi and northern Staten Island.
District Leaders Vittoria Fariello and Dennis Gault were elected as District Leaders in the new AD 61, vacating their previous positions in AD 65 and AD 66 respectively.
