DOT Park Row Public Workshop & Temporary Art Commission

NYC DOT is hosting an in-person workshop on proposed street improvements on and around Park Row, with the goal to clarify access to Park Row and enhance pedestrian and bike connections between Chinatown, Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. This effort is part of the Chinatown Connections project, which includes three major components: renovating Kimlau Square, beautifying the Park Row connection to Chinatown, and creating a Chinatown welcome gateway.

NYC DOT Art - Commission for Temporary Site-Responsive Art

Additionally, NYC DOT Art is commissioning temporary site-responsive art to support the proposed street improvements in reinforcing the connection between Lower Manhattan and Chinatown, and reflect the rich cultural identity of the area.
