Dyslexia Legislation Panel Discussion

1 in 5 children have learning disabilities. DID has recently passed two Dyslexia related resolutions, highlighting the inequity facing children with dyslexia in NYC public schools (read resolution 1) and supporting the establishment of a public school for dyslexic students at the Bleecker School site (read resolution 2).DID is very proud to have two DID member moms who are spearheading this school.

Local Community Boards, Community Education Councils and other organizations are sponsoring a panel discussion with State Legislators on how we can pass legislation  to change the system. The forum is open to all.
