This meeting we will focus on the critical Covid related issues of tenant protection and schools.

Councilmember Mark Levine will join us to discuss his bill to expand the Right to Counsel across the city for low-income tenants in eviction proceedings.

Also joining us is Andra Stanley, Housing Committee Director for NYS Senate Housing Committee Chair, Senator Brian Kavanagh, to discuss the status of the eviction moratorium and the multiple bills in the NYS Legislature intended to provide rent and housing protection for people affected by this pandemic.
