On November 10, 2021, DID Executive Committee, recognizing the immediacy of this issue as it was being debated in the House of Representatives,  approved a letter against the full repeal of the SALT cap.

Dear Senators Schumer and Gillibrand, and Representatives Maloney, Nadler and Velazquez:

Attached please find a letter approved by the DID Executive Committee in support of the proposal from Senators Sanders and Menendez, which would leave the state and Local Tax (SALT) cap at $10,000, but create an exemption for moderate-earning taxpayers.
