We are writing to amplify this message from our Lower East Side constituents and communities: Lower East Side residents need our City Council representatives to hold a public hearing on the East Side Coastal Resiliency project. The City must address urgent project-related issues, and ensure that this project meets the environmental, resiliency, health, safety, contractual and other standards and requirements essential for a project of such impact.
